Some Leeds fans respond to JKA tweet

Some Leeds United fans on Twitter have responded to a tweet from Jean-Kevin Augustin.

The young French hitman drew a line under the confusion surrounding his future by joining Nantes on a two-year deal.

Augustin spent the second half of last season on loan at Leeds but managed just 48 minutes of league football under Marcelo Bielsa.

Leipzig accused the newly-promoted Premier League club of failing to honour the £19 million permanent fee [Sportbuzzer] that they were supposed to pay if Bielsa’s side escaped the Championship.

Legally it remains to be seen what happens, but one thing for sure is that Leeds haven’t bought him.

There was much fanfare surrounding his arrival at Elland Road last January and his constant interaction with United supporters made him a popular figure, despite struggling to make an impression on the field.

Augustin sent a classy message to the Yorkshire club on Twitter yesterday and Leeds fans, as always, responded in kind:
