Leeds United are reportedly keen on Amiens striker Moussa Konate.

Leeds United have tied up five summer signings for Marcelo Bielsa, and it remains to be seen who busy they are in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
The Whites have snapped up goalkeeper Jamal Blackman, left back Barry Douglas, midfielder Lewis Baker, winger Jack Harrison and striker Patrick Bamford, boosting Bielsa’s options.
After the 3-1 opening day win over Stoke City, spirits are high at Elland Road, and fans may be hoping to see a couple more new faces arrive on deadline day, even with the loan market still open beyond that.
Despite landing Bamford, another striker may yet be on Bielsa’s radar, even with Kemar Roofe and Tyler Roberts also at Bielsa’s disposal – and another big-money move has been touted.
According to the Daily Mirror’s printed edition (Wednesday 8th August, page 51), Leeds are lining up a £6million move for Amiens striker, which comes just a day after L’Equipe reported the Whites’ interest.
Konate, 25, has endured a nomadic career to date, featuring in his native Senegal with ASC Toure Kunda de Mbour, before heading to Israel with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Russia with Krasnodar, Italy with Genoa, Switzerland with Sion and now France with Amiens.

After smashing 50 goals in 115 games for Sion, it was no surprise to see Konate earn a move last summer, and he impressed in Ligue 1 last season with 13 goals in 33 appearances, earning a spot in Senegal’s World Cup squad this past summer.
Leeds fans have now taken to Twitter in order to discuss the Konate rumours, with many excited about the prospect of signing him, begging Leeds to snap up the pacy goalscorer, with some convinced by his displays in France – but others feel that splashing more cash on a striker after Bamford’s move would be foolish.
