Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to the potentially worrying rumours that both Liverpool and Tottenham are keen on Kalvin Phillips.

The Mirror has claimed that both Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho are motoring the boyhood Leeds fan, who has made an excellent start to the season.

Phillips has been one of the standout performers ever since Marcelo Bielsa walked through the Thorp Arch doors two seasons ago and it earned him his maiden England call-up last month.

But there are a section of Leeds fans who have made it clear that it will take a lot to prize away their ‘Yorkshire Pirlo’ from Elland Road.

Given that Phillips has come through the club’s academy and is a boyhood fan then he will have that extra special affiliation for those in the stands, and as a result, it would make it tougher prizing him away from his current surroundings.

A bid has to come in before the serious stuff can get spoken about, but from the perspective of the Leeds fans, they cannot see their man in the middle leaving them.

Here is a selection of Leeds fans reacting to those rumours that Phillips is wanted by Liverpool and Spurs:
