A number of Leeds United fans have been discussing the reports linking the Whites with Jonathan Kodjia.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to comment on recent reports emerging from the Express and Star this week which suggested that the Whites are eyeing a move for Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia this summer.
Marcelo Bielsa desperately needs to get a new striker in through the door this summer. As things stand, Kemar Roofe is, by far, the most senior forward in the Leeds ranks with Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s loan spell ending and no new additions in that area of the pitch.
One player that they reportedly have their eye on however, is Kodjia. The Express and Star reports that Leeds are rivalling Newcastle for the 28-year-old’s signature, and he is likely to be sold this summer as the Villans attempt to gain some funds following their play-off final defeat last season.
Kodjia – who joined Villa in a deal that could be worth £15 million, according to BBC Sport – boasts a decent record in the Championship, having scored 39 goals in 100 appearances for Bristol City and Villa combined.

He has struggled with injury in recent times and only managed to score one league goal last season. Nevertheless, it appears that many Leeds fans would like to see Victor Orta bring the Ivory Coast international to Elland Road this summer.
Perhaps fearing the consequences of not getting a striker in before the new season starts, Kodjia is a fairly popular target amongst some of the Whites supporters on social media, with a couple of fans extremely excited about the links.

Here is what some of the Leeds supporters made of the reports…
