Leeds earned a narrow three points against Swansea on Wednesday night.

Leeds United returned to the top of the Championship table on Wednesday night with a 2-1 win over Swansea City at Elland Road – but Leeds fans were unimpressed with Kemar Roofe’s display.
Pontus Jansson and Jack Harrison gave Leeds a commanding 2-0 lead at the break, and Marcelo Bielsa’s side looked comfortable and more than deserving of the three points.
However, Luke Ayling conceded a penalty with five minutes to play which was dispatched by striker Oli McBurnie. But Leeds held on to earn an 18th league win of the season to leapfrog Norwich, who lost 3-1 to Preston at Deepdale.
Bielsa opted to start Patrick Bamford once again as his sole striker, meaning top scorer Roofe was dropped into attacking midfield alongside Mateusz Klich – and he struggled to get to grips with his new position.

Roofe has been superb for Leeds this season, scoring 14 goals in 26 Championship appearances. He has arguably been in his best form since joining the club from Oxford United for a fee of £3million (Yorkshire Post).
But he has failed to find the back of the net since the 2-0 win over Derby County back on January 11. He has scored once in his last eight games.
He was pushed back into attacking midfield and Leeds fans criticised the former West Bromwich Albion and Oxford United ace, with some stating he is much better as a striker rather than in midfield.
