Leeds United got their hands on the Championship title last night, ending 16 years of hurt in the second tier.
They celebrated in style on the pitch, with a 4-0 victory over Charlton, managed by former Whites man Lee Bowyer, whose side were relegated.
Leeds are leaving the Championship at the other end and nobody could deny that they’ve been the best side in the division this season.
It was time to start the party as the players got their hands on the trophy, before heading onto an open-top bus outside Elland Road.
Liam Cooper clearly enjoyed the celebrations, judging by the photo he posted on Twitter just before 5am.
Marcelo Bielsa is known for his tough training sessions but even he will – hopefully – allow his players at least one day off to recover from the celebrations.
They are much-deserved after taking Leeds back to the promised land and Cooper was the Argentine’s on-pitch leader.
