Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the club are willing to offload Kiko Casilla in the summer transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Leeds are willing to sell Casilla this summer and are looking at signing Emiliano Martinez from Arsenal.
It has been reported that the West Yorkshire outfit – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – are willing to offload the former Real Madrid goalkeeper.
The Daily Mirror’s northern football and boxing writer David Anderson has also stated on Twitter that Leeds will consider offers for Casilla, and that the club plan to make Illan Meslier the first-choice goalkeeper in 2020-21.
Casilla joined Leeds in January 2019 after leaving Spanish and European giants Madrid and has been the first choice between the sticks under head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
According to WhoScored, the 33-year-old made 19 appearances in the Championship for the Whites during the second half of the 2018-19 campaign.
The former Espanyol star played in 36 Championship matches for the Whites last season, according to WhoScored.
