Jack Harrison took the Premier League football last season with Leeds like a duck to watch. Yet this campaign has been a different story, and supporters think they know why.
The former Manchester City attacker has underperformed massively for the Whites compared to his form for Leeds last year. Harrison hit eight goals and eight assists in the Premier League, whilst this season the 24-year-old is yet to register a single goal contribution.
Indeed, Leeds’ form overall this season has been dire compared to their electric start in the Premier League in 2020. Yet Harrison in particular has struggled this season.
And fans on social media believe this problem could be down to the departure of Ezgjan Alioski, who left Leeds in July following the expiration of his contract.
The North Macedonia international linked up well with Harrison from the left-back position. And since the departure of Alioski from Yorkshire, the former New York City FC star is yet to click with anyone this campaign.
Indeed, it is not reasonable to suggest that Harrison is struggling to link up with the likes of Junior Firpo or Pascal Struijk behind him down the left. And supporters believe Alioski’s departure has played a role.
