Ross was sacked by Sunderland at the start of the month.

Some Hearts fans are calling the appointment of a former Sunderland manager as Craig Levein’s successor.
Levein was sacked by Hearts on Thursday, less than a month after Jack Ross suffered the same fate at Sunderland.
Ross was previously employed by the Edinburgh side as a coach and was linked with a return there by The Sun while he was still at the Stadium of Light.
The 43-year-old took Sunderland to the League One play-offs last season and previously led St Mirren into the Scottish Premiership.

This is what those of a Hearts persuasion are saying on Twitter…
Sunderland have since hired Phil Parkinson as boss, opting for League One promotion experience in an attempt to go one better than last term.
Meanwhile, another out-of-work ex-Mackems boss, Chris Coleman, was linked with a return to management with Southampton.
Coleman preceded Ross at Sunderland and later had a spell in Chinese football.
