Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to chairman Andrea Radrizzani suggesting that the club could break their transfer record soon.
Leeds will play in the Premier League next season after winning the Championship title and clinching automatic promotion.
This is the first time that the Whites will play in the top flight of English football since 2004.
As quoted by Leeds Live, Radrizzani has said that Leeds “could break” their own transfer record soon.
Rio Ferdinand’s £18 million move to Elland Road in 2000 is the record for the Whites, as reported by Leeds Live.
Some Leeds fans think that Radrizzani plans to make Ben White the club’s record signing and are hopeful of that as well.
The 22-year-old central defender joined the Whites on a season-long loan deal from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2019.
The youngster has been superb for Leeds and has been one of the best players in the Championship this season.

With Brighton retaining their Premier League status for next season, the Seagulls may not be willing to sell White this summer.
