Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Sessegnon has been picked out for praise by supporters after his display for England’s under-21 side last night.
Sessegnon claimed an assist, as the Three Lions’ youngsters beat Turkey 2-0.
The left-sided player’s display was a timely reminder of his quality, after what has been a difficult spell at Tottenham so far.
And many England supporters rushed to social media to write positive words about the prospect after the match.
Sessegnon joined Spurs back in 2019, but he has only had a limited impact with the Lilywhites so far.
The 20-year-old has failed to really break into Tottenham’s first team, and has now been sent out on loan to Hoffenheim.
Spurs still have high hopes for Sessegnon in the future, but it is fair to say that the move hasn’t worked out as anyone was hoping so far.
Sessegnon could actually make his debut for Hoffenheim at the weekend, when they take on Borussia Dortmund.
