Some Stoke City fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Liverpool are interested in Jack Butland.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool are interested in signing Butland from Stoke before the summer transfer window in England closes on Friday.
The report has claimed that the defending Premier League champions are in talks with the Championship club over the transfer of the 27-year-old goalkeeper.
Butland has fallen down the pecking order at Stoke and has not played for the first team in a competitive match since July.
The former Birmingham City goalkeeper has made mistakes in the Championship for the Potters, and it is going to be tough for him to get back into the Stoke starting lineup.
With Alisson out injured at the moment – as reported by The Liverpool Echo – and Adrian making mistakes from to time to time – like he did against Aston Villa before the international break – it seems that Liverpool are looking for a new goalkeeper, although it must be noted that The Liverpool Echo has claimed that the Merseyside club have no plan to bring in a custodian.
