Some Everton fans on Twitter are not happy that the team will have to play against Manchester City just three days before the Merseyside derby against Liverpool.

Everton have announced on their official website that the Premier League game against City will kick off at 8:15pm on Wednesday February 17.

The match was originally scheduled to be played on December 28, 2020, but it had to be postponed due to an outbreak of coronavirus at City.

The Toffees will take on defending Premier League champions Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on February 20.

Some Everton fans are not happy that the team will have to face Liverpool in the Premier League just three days after locking horns with City.

Below are some of the best comments on Twitter:

Staying positive

City are in great form at the moment and will head into the match against Everton as favourites.

Liverpool are not in good form now, but the defending Premier League champions have a very good squad and are still very much in the running for the title.

Winning against City and Liverpool will not be easy, but Everton fans should stay positive.
