Everton are reportedly in talks with Serie A giants Fiorentina over a move that would see ostracised winger Kevin Mirallas leave Goodison Park on loan again – and some Toffees fans have urged the club to conclude a deal.

Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed on his official website that the 30-year-old winger is the subject of talks between Everton and Fiorentina, with a loan move close to being agreed.

New Everton manager has frozen out the Belgium international from his first-team training sessions, along with Ashley Williams, Cuco Martina and Nikola Vlasic, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Williams is reportedly closing in on a move to Championship side Stoke City, while Vlasic has been linked with Newcastle United this summer and the quartet are expected to leave after their demotion.

Mirallas was loaned to Olympiakos in the January transfer window after being ostracised by both Ronald Koeman and then Sam Allardyce, but only managed two goals in his 15 league and cup appearances.

Now, some Everton fans are desperate to see the back of Mirallas, who has two years remaining on his £70,000-a-week contract (Daily Star). One fan Tweeted: “Another one bites the dust”.
