Everton are said to have rejected a £12m bid for Lookman.

Everton have reportedly rejected a £12million bid from German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig for Ademola Lookman after the youngster impressed on loan during 2017-18 – and Everton fans have laughed off the eight-figure offer.

Lookman had a hand in nine goals during his 11 appearances for Leipzig, scoring five goals and contributing another four as assists so it may come as no surprise that he is attracting interest from his loan side.

The former Charlton Athletic ace was only afforded 152 minutes of Premier League football before joining Leipzig in January, with Sam Allardyce hardly giving the England youth international a chance to shine at Goodison Park.

Lookman has a contract at Everton until the summer of 2021, but with the likes of Theo Walcott and Yannick Bolasie currently considered first choice – and new manager Marco Silva likely to bring in new signings – it remains to be seen where his future lies.
But the majority of Everton fans reacted to the news that Leipzig had seen a £12million offer for Lookman rejected, by suggesting that he is worth way more than the eight-figure fee.
