Everton have been ambitious in the last few transfer windows. Farhad Moshiri has given the Toffees the financial strength to compete with the big teams in the transfer market.
That alone is a huge boost for Everton to be successful in the transfer windows. However, the Toffees showed just how ambitious they are when they appointed Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager.
The Italian is one of the greatest managers to ever grace the game. His name alone will make a huge difference and Everton, thanks to him, have been linked with a number of top players.
One such player is Juventusβ Adrien Rabiot. TMW reported back in June that Everton had already held informal talks with the Frenchman over a potential move this summer with Calcio Mercato claiming that he would cost around Β£25 million.
That would be a stunning signing for the Toffees. Rabiot has already had a highly decorated career having won six league titles and 14 more trophies despite only being 25 years old.
The Frenchman hasnβt had the best of seasons in Turin but he showed exactly what he is capable of last night in a Serie A clash against AC Milan.

Rabiot picked the ball up in his own half, dribbled past a few opponents before unleashing a stunning strike from outside the box to complete a truly brilliant solo goal.
Evertonβs problems this season have been in their midfield. A player like Rabiot would be fantastic for them next season and some Toffees supporters were in awe of his strike last night.
