The Toffees have now lost three Premier League games in a row for the first time since January 2018.

Everton’s season continues to lurch from bad to worse as Marco Silva’s return to Watford on Saturday afternoon saw the Toffees fall to a 1-0 defeat.
A fairly tame game at Vicarage Road produced little in the way of quality apart from the Hornets’ winner, which didn’t come until the 65th minute.
Half-time substitute Andre Gray was on hand to tap home a low cross from Will Hughes, which came about thanks to a fine volleyed delivery from Craig Cathcart.
Everton were poor throughout and could have even gone behind early on, were it not for goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s headed stop to keep out Etienne Capoue’s close-range effort.
The Toffees have now lost three Premier League games in a row for the first time since January 2018, and lost seven of their last 11 away games in the league (Sky Sports News).
At full time, some Everton fans took to Twitter to express their dismay at how Silva is managing the squad and there are increasing calls for Farhad Moshiri to wield the axe:
Everton are ninth in the Premier League table on 33 points, nine above the bottom three, and up next for them is a trip to Cardiff on Tuesday 26 February.
