Some Derby County fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with Leeds United youngster Tyler Roberts.
According to The Times, Championship club Derby are interested in signing Roberts from Leeds, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the second tier of English football at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The report has claimed that the Rams are monitoring the 21-year-old – who can play as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder – following the signing of Rodrigo by Leeds.
The Wales international has had injury problems during his time at Elland Road so far and has not established himself as a regular in the first team.
While a loan move to Derby would potentially see the youngster get more playing time, staying at Leeds would see him work regularly under head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
Moreover, Leeds will need a big and strong squad, as they aim to make an immediate impact in the Premier League, having returned to the top flight of English football for the first time since 2004.
