Derby County fans are reacting on Twitter to news of Sheffield United interest in David Nugent.
HITC Sport understands Sheffield United have enquired about the Derby striker, as they struggle to agree a fee for Martyn Waghorn of Ipswich Town.
Nugent, who has scored 15 goals in 57 games for Derby, is one of four senior strikers on the books at Pride Park, along with Matej Vydra, Chris Martin, Cameron Jerome and former Blade Nick Blackman.
And after recently entering the final year of his contract at Pride Park, the 33-year-old could be moved on sooner rather than later, ensuring the Rams receive a fee for a player for whom they paid around £2.5 million 18 months ago.

Already, some Derby supporters are already making plans for after Nugent’s departure, with Peterborough United’s Jack Marriott proving a popular target.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Would Nugent be a good signing for Sheffield United?
