Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after The Telegraph provided an update on Michael Olise’s fitness.
What’s the story?
Well, the Eagles signed the 19-year-old from Reading back in July, in a deal worth £8m.
However, they did so knowing that Olise was injured.
As a result, the teenager hasn’t featured in any of Crystal Palace’s pre-season games, as he continues to recover from the back issue.
Now, The Telegraph have given an update.
It’s written that Olise will be assessed ahead of the trip to Chelsea on August 14th, but he is viewed as someone who can provide the spark in Eberechi Eze’s absence.

Why?
Well, not much has been said about Olise’s injury, and there were whispers that it was an issue which could keep him out for months.
However, the fact he will be assessed ahead of the Chelsea game suggests Crystal Palace believe he has a chance of featuring, which is good news.
