Palace are reportedly looking to land Origi before Thursday’s deadline.

Crystal Palace have reportedly made an offer for Liverpool striker Divock Origi as they look to add to their attacking options before Thursday’s 5pm deadline – and some Palace fans are excited.
Spanish outlet El Desmarque claim Palace are keen to land the out-of-favour 23-year-old, and have tabled an offer worth £16.2million for the Belgium international.
It seems as though Origi has little future at Anfield, after entering the final 12 months of his contract with the likes of Dom Solanke, Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings above Origi in the pecking order.
La Liga side Valencia are also said to have made an offer for Origi, in the form of a loan-to-buy deal but it is likely that Liverpool would rather cash in on the former Lille striker – with his contract expiring soon.

Origi went on loan to German club Wolfsburg last season but failed to impress, scoring only seven goals as they flirted with relegation – finally staying up via the relegation play-off.
Some Palace fans reacted to the news that Roy Hodgson was looking to raid one of his many former clubs, with the majority stating that they were excited to potentially sign a player such as Origi.
