The Charlton Athletic boss has reportedly been sounded out by Queens Park Rangers.

Some Charlton Athletic fans fear they will lose Lee Bowyer to Queens Park Rangers this summer.
According to the London Evening Standard, Bowyer has been sounded out about the R’s managerial vacancy.
The 42-year-old has led Charlton to fifth in League One in his first full season in charge, and in difficult circumstances to boot.
However, his contract is due to expire at the end of the campaign and despite saying he will sign an extension at The Valley, an offer has yet to materialise.
This is how those of a Charlton persuasion are reacting to the QPR reports…

Well you can **** off QPR #cafc
This is Bowyer’s first ever senior managerial role, having also begun his playing career at Charlton.
But sentiment is unlikely to stand in the way of a chance to manage at Championship level, assuming of course that QPR survive this season.

The R’s currently sit 17th having won just one of their last 15 league games, a run of form that cost Steve McClaren his job on Monday.
Would Bowyer be a good appointment for QPR?
