Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata is reportedly wanted by Fulham.

Some Celtic fans on Twitter are hopeful that a rumour regarding Dedryck Boyata is true.
According to The Scottish Sun, Premier League new boys Fulham are interested in the Belgium international, who has impressed in this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Boyata, who earns around £14,000 per week according to The Star, is out of contract with Celtic next summer and speculation about his future puts the Hoops in an awkward position.

Despite dazzling on the biggest stage of all in recent weeks, the former Manchester City centre-back struggled at times for Brendan Rodgers’s side last season.

As a result, some fans of the Parkhead club would be happy to see the Northern Irishman get rid this summer.
It is unlikely to be a popular stance among most Celtic fans, the majority of whom will surely be hoping to see him in a green and white shirt again next season following his performances at the World Cup.
Then again, it isn’t uncommon for players to raise their game on such a big stage for the purpose of securing a big transfer and, with a year to go on his contract, it’s possible that Boyata is putting himself in the shop window.
