The Leicester City centre-back spent last season on loan at Celtic.

Some Celtic fans are interpreting Filip Benkovic’s latest Instagram post as a hint that the Leicester City centre-back is returning ‘up the road’ to Glasgow.
Benkovic starred while on loan at Celtic last season but has since returned to Leicester, reuniting with the manager who brought him to Parkhead, Brendan Rodgers.
But despite their past success together, Rodgers has yet to use the 22-year-old this season, with Jonny Evans and Calgar Soyuncu the Ulsterman’s preferred partnership.
Benkovic posted the following on Instagram earlier (Friday):
And these Celtic fans are reacting with excitement in the comments…

It is fair to say that Celtic have not struggled in Bekovic’s absence, conceding just seven goals in 11 Scottish Premiership games this season.
The Bhoys recruited centre-backs Christopher Jullien and Hatem Abd Elhamed for a combined fee of around £8.5 million.

Benkovic cost Leicester £13 million alone during last summer’s transfer window.
Celtic fans – should the Bhoys return for the Leicester centre-back if he is made available in January?
