But speaking to a pre-match press conference [The Record], Bhoys caretaker manager John Kennedy confirmed that Scott Bain would be absent with a hand injury.
And some Celtic fans on Twitter believe that opens the door for Barkas, a £5 million signing last summer [The Record].
The Greece international has never played under Kennedy and hasn’t featured for the former Premiership champions at all since January, when Neil Lennon was still in charge.
It’s been a dismal first season for the former AEK Athens goalkeeper in Glasgow, but Celtic supporters think he’ll get his chance tonight.
