Celtic fans are reacting to reports Sheffield Wednesday could sign Bhoys target David Turnbull.
Celtic announced last week that despite agreeing a fee with Turnbull’s club, Motherwell, they have so far failed to strike a deal with the midfielder’s agent and could walk away from the transfer.
And according to The Scottish Sun, Sheffield Wednesday are ready to match the Bhoys’ accepted offer of £3 million.
Turnbull was named the Scottish Football Writers’ Association young player of the year last season, after scoring or making 23 goals in 34 games for Well.
But it seems few of a Celtic persuasion would be bothered if he went instead to Sheffield Wednesday…

Should Turnbull sign for Sheffield Wednesday, it would the second summer running in which Owls boss Steve Bruce has landed one of Celtic’s transfer targets.
This time last year, Bruce secured a deal for John McGinn while managing Aston Villa.
McGinn, whose grandfather is a former Celtic chairman, went on to achieve promotion with the Villans.
