Euan Henderson impressed for Celtic’s youth team today.

Some Celtic fans on Twitter are raving about Euan Henderson’s exploits for the Hoops in the Super Cup NI on Saturday.
The 18-year-old scored twice as Celtic Under-19s came from behind to beat their Manchester United equivalents 3-1 a little earlier in Coleraine today.
Henderson, the younger brother of former Bhoys midfielder Liam, was his side’s stand-out performer.
And some fans of the Parkhead club reckon that they’ve got a very bright talent on their hands.
In this day and age, fans are often quick to jump to conclusions and overrate players based on very little.
Interestingly, Jack Aitchison, who is Celtic’s youngest-ever goalscorer, was also in the first XI today, which ought to prove that there is often a massive difference between a young player’s quality and what fans think of the same young player.
Aitchison looked set to become the Hoops’ next big thing a couple years ago after scoring a Premiership goal under Ronny Deila at the age of 16, but he hasn’t had a sniff under Brendan Rodgers since and remains nowhere near the first team, hence his participation in the Super Cup – formerly the Milk Cup.
Henderson might be lethal in years to come, but there is a hell of a lot of hard work between now and then. Scoring twice against the Red Devils’ youth side proves nothing for now.
