Boruc is still thought of in high regard at Celtic.

Celtic’s official Twitter celebrated the 13-year anniversary of Artur Boruc signing for the club permanently on Wednesday afternoon – and Hoops fans are desperate to see the powerful Pole return to Parkhead.
Boruc, now 38, had initially signed with Celtic on loan from Legia Warsaw in January 2005, but the deal was made permanent just three months later in October.
The Poland international spent five years at Celtic between 2005 and 2010, clocking up an enormous 220 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops and winning three Scottish Premiership titles in that time.
The Bhoys posted on their official Twitter account, describing Boruc as a “true Celtic fan favourite” following his superb spell that arguably was the best years of his career.
Boruc, who is currently acting as Asmir Begovic’s back-up at Premier League side Bournemouth, has sat on the bench for all of the Cherries eight league games – but has been given a chance in the Carabao Cup, playing twice.
But with doubts remaining over Craig Gordon, Celtic fans have replied to their club’s Tweet by ordering Brendan Rodgers to bring him back to Parkhead. He could indeed be available for a transfer, with his current £40,000-a-week deal (Spotrac) expiring in the summer.
