
Quite a lot of Celtic fans might’ve forgotten all about Ismaila Soro.
After all, the 22-year-old midfielder hasn’t played a single minute in any competition for the Hoops since joining in January.
And remember, this is a player who Celtic paid £2 million for [The Scotsman] so quite a bit is expected of him next season.
Neil Lennon’s side are training down South at the moment in preparation for the 2020-21 campaign – and some fans have gotten a glimpse of the Ivorian player.
Soro produced a fine assist for Mo Elyounoussi in training, driving through the midfield before teeing up the Southampton loanee, who signed up for another stint in Glasgow last week.
Okay it’s only training, so the quality of the assist doesn’t actually matter all that much, but it’s still good to know and see that Soro is involved in first-team sessions at the moment.
