Arzani joined Celtic on a two-year loan from Manchester City last year.

Some Celtic supporters were delighted by one Hoops player’s return to action earlier (Tuesday). Daniel Arzani, who joined Celtic on a two-year loan from Manchester City last summer, was named on the bench for the Bhoys’ behind-closed-doors friendly with Hibernian.
Arzani has spent the best part of 11 months out injured after tearing his Anterior Cruciate Ligament en debut.
But he played the final 26 minutes of Celtic reserves’ Hibs encounter, which ended 1-1 thanks to a penalty won and converted by Armstrong Oko-Flex.
And the Manchester City-owned player’s return has brought the following reaction from these Celtic fans on Twitter…
Getting back fit could be just half the battle for Arzani, who has competition from James Forrest, Mikey Johnston, Mohamed Elyounoussi, Jonny Hayes, Lewis Morgan and Scott Sinclair in his position.
Summer signings Lee O’Connor, Liam Burt and Jonathan Afolabi all started this afternoon’s game, which was held at Celtic’s Lennoxtown training complex.
