The Toulouse defender has been strongly linked with a move to Celtic.

Some Celtic fans have expressed their excitement after one rumoured Bhoys target hinted that he could be on the move.

The Toulouse centre-back, Christopher Jullien, has been strongly linked with a summer transfer to Celtic Park, with The Daily Record having reported that the Bhoys were locked in talks to sign him earlier this month.

And posting via his Instagram story on Tuesday, Jullien, who was pictured at the Sport Performance Center near Toulouse less than 24 hours earlier, appeared to be boarding a private plane to an unknown location – which the following Celtic supporters suggested could be either Glasgow or Graz, where Neil Lennon’s side are currently training.

However, in a subsequent update, uploaded less than 90 minutes later, the 26-year-old tagged himself alongside the football agent, Jonathan Benbaron, on Avenue Matignon in the centre of Paris – around half an hour’s drive from the city’s Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.

That’s not to say that a further flight to Glasgow hasn’t happened (or can’t still happen), while there’s no reason that talks with Celtic or any other club could not be held in the French capital.

There’s also the possibility that Jullien’s posts weren’t uploaded in chronological order.

Nevertheless, we at HITC would advise caution on this occasion.

Although, Jullien’s Instagram may be one for those of a Celtic persuasion to keep an eye on in the coming weeks and months.
