Jude Bellingham has hailed Tottenham midfielder James Maddison and Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell on his Instagram story.

The trio are preparing for England’s upcoming games against Ukraine in a Euro 2024 qualifier, before facing off against Scotland in a so-called friendly.

Jude Bellingham is a sure starter given his stunning form in Real Madrid colours, whilst James Maddison might not start, but he has also begun life brightly at Tottenham following their summer transfers.

Even though Chelsea were beaten at the weekend by Nottingham Forest, Ben Chilwell is also showing promising form, but with Luke Shaw injured, that left-back spot is his, unless Gareth Southgate opts to start Kieran Trippier in that position.

You would think, injuries aside, all of the above players should have their tickets booked for the 2024 Euros in Germany.

Given the strength England have got, then you would also feel that they will be one of the favourites to lift the trophy, especially given that they were beaten in the Euro 2020 finals by penalties.

Bellingham proving to be one of the world’s best

A certain starter for England and a player who is running amok in La Liga for the biggest club side in the world.

The strides Bellingham is taking in his game are quite incredible. To take on the pressures of Real Madrid, and deliver in such a manner, requires a special skill set and mindset.

But it’s all for the benefit of England because they now have a player who will be a mainstay of the midfield for probably the next 15 years, as well as the nation’s future captain.
