Sheffield United have been credited with interest in the Aston Villa striker.

Aston Villa fans are reacting to reports that Sheffield United would consider an offer to take Scott Hogan on loan.
The Sheffield Star claims Blades boss Chris Wilder is an admirer of Hogan, despite the striker having struggled since his ‘£15 million’ move to Aston Villa 18 months ago.
Sheffield United are in need of attacking reinforcements after the departures of James Wilson, Clayton Donaldson and David Brooks this summer, while Villa’s poor financial state could convince them to part with high earning players such as the 26-year-old.

But even though many Villans supporters would willingly allow Hogan to leave, some are urging the Blades to cough up for a permanent deal should they wish to sign him.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Brooks’ sale is thought to have landed Sheffield United in excess of £10 million, although Wilder has previously shared his reluctance to break the club’s rigid wage structure.
