Aston Villa have been linked with Thierry Henry, but some of their supporters much prefer Dean Smith as an option.
Some Aston Villa fans have called for Dean Smith to take over rather than Thierry Henry, if Steve Bruce is to be sacked.
And if Bruce is let go, it is thought that Henry will become the claret and blues’ top choice.
Henry has never managed before, but Villa’s new owners believe he could be a great choice for them.
However, Villa fans are not unanimously behind the idea of Henry taking charge next term and many have called for Smith to be given a shot before the former Arsenal forward.
Smith has done an impressive job at Brentford and grew up as a Villa supporter.
He boasts a vast amount of experience of managing in the Football League, and although he would be making a step up to manage Villa, he would arguably be a safer bet than Henry.
