The Brentford winger was signed while the Aston Villa manager, Dean Smith, was in charge at Griffin Park.

Some Aston Villa fans are tweeting the Brentford winger, Said Benrahma.
It comes after Sky Sports reported that Villa have had a bid turned down by Brentford, who are said to want a ‘huge offer’ to consider selling Benrahma.
The Algerian was brought to Brentford with the current Aston Villa manager, Dean Smith, was in charge at Griffin Park.
And his debut campaign yielded 28 goals or assists in 45 games across all competitions.
Understandably then, many of a Villa persuasion would welcome Benrahma to Villa Park this summer.
And some are urging the 23-year-old to try and force his employers’ hand…
Aston Villa have already added the former Birmingham City winger, Jota Peleteiro, to their ranks having secured promotion back to the Premier League.
Another of Smith’s former Brentford players, Jota has traded places with the Villa midfielder, Gary Gardner – a lifelong Birmingham fan who spent last season on loan at St Andrew’s.

Will Aston Villa get their man in Brentford’s Benrahma?
