Some Aston Villa fans on social media have been reacting after Dean Smith was linked with the Norwich City job just days after he was sacked by the Midlands club.
It was a weekend of sackings in the Premier League. Villa got rid of Smith while Norwich parted ways with Daniel Farke, and the Canaries are already looking at the former Brentford manager.
As you can imagine, the Villa Park faithful have been discussing the prospect of Smith getting back into management straight away, and it’s fair to say they’re quite excited for him.
There are no hard feelings between the Villa fanbase and Smith, and actually, the supporters think this would be something of a coup for Norwich, with many claiming that the 50-year-old would be able to keep the Norfolk outfit up.
Whether or not Smith does head to Norwich remains to be seen, but if he does take over, he’s bound to get a warm welcome when he returns to Villa Park later this season.
