Some fans react to Jonathan Kodjia’s performance for Aston Villa last night.

Some Aston Villa fans aren’t happy with Jonathan Kodjia on Twitter.
The Villans lost 3-1 to West Ham United in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.
Kodjia, who failed to score in any of his last 10 Championship games last term following a return from long-term injury, struggled at times for Aston Villa last night.
The Ivorian – who joined the club in 2016 – and Villa cannot afford for his rough patch to extend into next season.
And some fans of the Villa Park club intimated on Twitter that manager Steve Bruce – who will remain in charge of the West Midlands outfit – should offload him this summer.
Selling Kodia would be crazy by Aston Villa. He might be a bit out of sorts since his return to action in March, but 19 goals during a brilliant debut season indicates that he can certainly be an asset.
However, Bruce clearly needs to add some very decent competition, though incomings is difficult amid the financial strain at the club at the moment, but the potential £30 million from Jack Grealish’s would-be sale should alleviate some of the pressure on Aston Villa.
