Some Aston Villa fans react to Gary Gardner and Andre Green displays

Gary Gardner and Andre Green were in action for Aston Villa against Dynamo Dresden on Saturday.

Aston Villa fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performances of Gary Gardner and Andre Green against Dynamo Dresden.

Both Gardner and Green featured for Villa in their pre-season friendly match against Dresden on Saturday.

Central midfielder Gardner did not start the match, but the 26-year-old came on as a substitute in the 77th minute.

Winger Green started the game against Dresden, and the 20-year-old played for 70 minutes.

Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performances of Gardner and Green – while they were pleased with the winger, the display produced by the midfielder did not impress them.

Villa reached the Championship playoff final last season, and the Villa Park faithful will be determined to repeat those heroics during the 2018-19 campaign.

While it is going to be hard for the Villans, with Steve Bruce in charge of the first team, the fans should be optimistic.
