Konsa was signed by the Aston Villa, manager Dean Smith, at Brentford.

Some Aston Villa supporters are urging their side to pounce amid reports a player signed by Dean Smith at Brentford has a £12 million release clause.
Sky Sports reports Ezri Konsa can leave Griffin Park if the above amount is offered, with Fulham the latest club credited with an interest.
Konsa starred in his first season at Brentford, playing in a position – centre-back – in which Aston Villa have found themselves depleted since the end of last season.
Both Axel Tuanzebe and Tyrone Mings – Villa’s first-choice pairing for most of the campaign’s second half – have returned to their parent clubs.

And although the pair have been linked with fresh moves to Villa Park, alternative targets have been mentioned.
As yet, however, Konsa isn’t one of them. But if the following Aston Villa fans had their way, that would not be the case.
As well as Fulham, Aston Villa’s local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been linked with Konsa.
But Wolves’ interest has since been played down.
Would the Brentford defender be a good addition for Aston Villa?
