Douglas Luiz is looking to get back in Dean Smith’s Aston Villa side.

Some Aston Villa fans are loving Douglas Luiz’s Twitter confession on Wednesday.
Aston Villa paid a reported fee of around £15 million to sign Luiz from Manchester City in the summer transfer window and has proved a popular addition so far.
And the Brazilian has done his reputation no harm by posting the following tweet, in which he claims to have accidentally turned up for training on his day off.
“I woke up early to train, got there and found it was a day off,” he wrote.
This is what those of an Aston Villa persuasion are saying on Twitter…
Aston Villa travel to another newly-promoted side, Norwich City, on Saturday afternoon.
A win for the Villans would see them leapfrog Norwich and move out of the bottom three.

Whether or not Luiz starts at Carrow Road remains to be seen, however.
The 21-year-old was left out of Dean Smith’s squad for last month’s defeat to Arsenal and was an unused substitute for the following week’s draw with Burnley, but played in the win against Brighton in between.
