Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack is reportedly on Sunderland’s radar.
Aston Villa and Sunderland fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation on the future of Ross McCormack.
According to The Daily Mail, Sunderland are interested in signing McCormack from Villa on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
The Black Cats will play in League One next season after getting relegated from the Championship at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
As for Villa, Steve Bruce’s side will remain in the Championship after failing to win the playoff final against Fulham last season.
Scotland international striker McCormack has struggled to make an impact at Villa since his move from Fulham in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million.
The 31-year-old former Leeds United and Rangers striker has been out on loan at Nottingham Forest and Melbourne City during his time at Villa so far.
