Surely Danny Rose would not do a Sol Campbell and leave Tottenham for Arsenal?
Some Arsenal fans have been discussing the possibility of signing soon to leave Tottenham star Danny Rose.
Rose has been left off Tottenham’s pre-season tour in order to secure a transfer away from the club, The Guardian report.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to move on from the 29-year-old and sign a younger player in his position.
Rose is low on options in the Premier League. The only top six club trying to sign a left-back at present is Arsenal.
The Spurs star signing for the Gunners is very unlikely, but it is a good football fit, taking out the rivalry.
Of course ignoring the rivalry is impossible, especially when it comes to a Spurs cult hero like Rose.
Rose even hit out at Arsenal last season after their players over-celebrated the win over Tottenham at The Emirates, Sky Sports reported.
The last player who jilted Tottenham for Arsenal was Sol Campbell, and he still hasn’t been forgiven.
Rose’s situation is different, and the only way it could happen is if he wanted to really stick it to Spurs if he felt he was being forced out.
Arsenal negotiating with Daniel Levy though, would be a sight to see.
