Should Arsenal make a managerial change?

Unai Emery the head coach

Arsenal lost another away fixture last night to blow a chance to move to third in the table.

While the Gunners sit fifth, they are 10 points off leaders Liverpool, and patience among fans is running out with boss Unai Emery.

There is a feeling among the fanbase that Emery has not taken Arsenal forward since replacing Arsene Wenger, and that they are already stagnating.

The anxiety is heightened by the fact Massimiliano Allegri is currently available.

Allegri is reported by The Guardian to be keen on managing in the Premier League, loosely touted with potential jobs at Tottenham or Manchester United if they decide to sack their current bosses amid poor form.

The Italian is said to even be learning English in a bid to be ready if he gets the call.

He has won multiple titles with Juventus in Serie A, and reached the Champions League final.

As CVs go, he is one of the best managers available, barring Jose Mourinho, who would be divisive for a number of reasons, not totally without merit.

Arsenal missed out on Jurgen Klopp previously due to their previous indecision over Arsene Wenger, and now he is topping the table with Liverpool.

Could Arsenal regret sticking by Emery, if Allegri ends up at Tottenham?
