Arsenal fans have reacted to the news that Alexandre Lacazette will miss Friday’s showdown with Everton.
The club confirmed on their official website that Lacazette has sustained ‘a strain’ to his left hamstring and will be absent for Everton’s visit to North London.
As a result, several Arsenal supporters have pointed out how they want Folarin Balogun to be handed his first Premier League start.
The 19-year-old is highly rated amongst supporters, with his manager, Mikel Arteta, recently stating that he has ‘unique qualities’, as posted by the Daily Mail.
And whilst Arsenal fans would like to see either Balogun as a number nine with Lacazette and Aubameyang missing.
In truth, it’s Eddie Nketiah who perhaps deserves the shot up top because he came off the bench last time out to help Arsenal rescue a 1-1 draw against Fulham.
Plus, he has been the one used more regularly up top by Arteta outside of the obvious two, even though his game time has reduced in recent months.
