Some Arsenal fans on Twitter have embraced an announcement from the club this afternoon.
Arsenal revealed on social media that they will be hearing a lot more from the fanbase going forward.
Following the European Super League fiasco in April, the Gunners’ support had called on establishing a direct line between them and the board.
And today, the North London club announced that a new initiative has been created for that very purpose.

It’s a start but honestly, Stan and Josh Kroenke have a lot more to do if they’re going to win back the Arsenal support.
Well, they never really had the majority of fans’ backing in the first place, but that ESL debacle, coupled with the fact that Mikel Arteta’s side have no European football of any description next season, has made a lot of supporters quite angry.
Remember, Gunners-mad Daniel Ek, the Spotify founder, continues to lurk in the shadows after declaring his interest to buy the club a few months ago.
This was an important step on behalf of the Kroenkes to at least entertain the idea that a fans’ voice is a relevant one.
