Some Arsenal fans think that William Saliba will be on the substitutes’ bench in the Premier League game against Manchester United this weekend.

Arsenal will take on United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners’ Under-23 side suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of their Liverpool counterparts in Premier League 2 on Friday evening.

Saliba started the match, but the central defender was substituted in the 77th minute.

Some Arsenal fans think that this is a sign that the 19-year-old defender will be in manager Mikel Arteta’s matchday squad for the game against United.

Below are some of the best comments on Twitter:

Saliba has yet to make an appearance for the Arsenal first team this season.

The teenager is a very promising and talented young defender, and he does have a bright future ahead of him.

While it is hard to see the Frenchman start against United, manager Arteta could decide to include him among his substitutes.

According to The London Evening Standard, David Luiz will miss the match due to a thigh injury, while Calum Chambers has a knee problem, which means that the door could open for Saliba to make the bench.
