Mesut Ozil’s situation
According to Football.London, Arsenal attacking midfielder Ozil will hold talks with his agent today regarding his future.
DC United, clubs in Italy and Qatar, and Fenerbache are interested in signing Ozil from Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to the report.
With the German attacking midfielder out of contract at the North London club at the end of the season and manager Mikel Arteta having not played him since March 2020, it does look likely that he will leave the Gunners for good this month.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s struggles
Aubameyang is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is arguably the best player on the books of Arsenal.
The 31-year-old is not having the best of seasons and is struggling for goals at the moment.
According to WhoScored, the former Borussia Dortmund star has scored three goals and provided one assist in 15 Premier League matches and has scored one goal in 29 Europa League minutes for the Gunners.
