Arsenal slumped to a third defeat in their last four Premier League games as they lost 1-0 at home to Leicester City tonight.

The Gunners lost to Manchester City last week and were looking to bounce back having squeezed past Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday night, but it wasn’t to be tonight.

Arsenal had 57%, 12 shots on goal and nine corners but just couldn’t get the all-important opening goal, and Leicester then unleashed Jamie Vardy on the Gunners.

Vardy has been a nemesis for Arsenal in the past, and he was at it again as he bagged the winner with just 10 minutes left to play at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s side were frustrating throughout, and fans will be understandably disappointed to be sitting in 10th place right now.

The game saw Thomas Partey make his first Premier League start for Arsenal since signing from Atletico Madrid, but the Ghanaian suffered defeat.

Arsenal fans took to Twitter to react to Partey’s first league start, suggesting that he is ‘so good’ and showed great composure.

Others liked his attitude as he was frustrated with defenders for not giving him the ball, and believe that he will be great in time.
