Lingard, on loan at West Ham from Manchester United at the moment, has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer of 2021.
The Sun has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking to bring the England international to the Emirates Stadium.
The London Evening Standard has reported that the Gunners are looking at the 28-year-old attacking midfielder if they are unable to keep Real Madrid-owned Martin Odegaard beyond the summer of 2021.
Lingard has been playing well for the Hammers and is a key figure in the London club’s quest to finish in the Premier League top four.
The Englishman, who can also operate a winger, scored twice for West Ham in their 3-2 win against Leicester City at London Stadium in the Premier League today.
