Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has taken to social networking site Twitter to state that he has enjoyed his first week at West Ham United.

Wilshere recently joined West Ham on a free transfer following his departure from Premier League rivals Arsenal earlier this summer.

The England international midfielder did not feature in the Hammers’ pre-season friendly match against Wycombe Wanderers this afternoon.

The 26-year-old, though, is pleased with how things are going at West Ham for him at the moment, with some Arsenal fans responding to his message on Twitter.

Good signing for West Ham United

Wilshere has a long injury record, and while some West Ham fans will be concerned, the London Stadium faithful should be optimistic about the former Arsenal midfielder.

The 26-year-old is a very good midfielder, and if he stays fit and plays regularly, then he will be one of the best players for West Ham during the 2018-19 campaign.

West Ham have been quite busy so far in the summer transfer window and have made a number of signings already.
